Gray was arrested in October 2017 by Kentucky State Police detectives following their investigation. Two months earlier, detectives said they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning an explicit image of a child posted in an online chat room.

The poster’s IP address was registered to a Winchester address. Police also determined the IP address was active when the picture was posted in June 2017.

When they executed a search warrant at the residence, detectives confiscated a number of items including a laptop computer, two tablet computers and a cell phone.

Gray’s sentences will run concurrently and will be followed by five years of post-incarceration supervision.
