Revival at Heritage Baptist
Heritage Baptist Church, 4369 Lexington Road, will have revival services at 6 p.m. Oct. 25-27 featuring revivalist Dr. Roy E. Lucas. There will be hymns and special music at each service.
Fall festival at Calvary Baptist
Calvary Baptist Church, 204 French Ave., will host a fall harvest festival from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be games, face painting, a petting zoo, chili cook-off, apple cider, food, gospel singing and more.
Services at Salem Church
What’s the connection between God, the IRS and one of Jesus’ parables? Find out about it this Sunday at Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road. The “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” celebrates Reformation Sunday with a worship service that begins at 11 a.m., and is followed by “Soup and Scripture” — a homemade soup lunch and Bible Study.
Services at Forest Grove Christian
Worship services at Forest Grove Christian Church, 4733 Old Boonesboro Road, are at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Sunday School is at 9:15 a.m. Sunday evening Bible study is at 6 p.m. Wednesday Bible study and youth groups meet at 6 p.m. Sunday worship service is broadcast on local cable channel 378 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 p.m. and Fridays at 8 p.m.
Services at Liberty Bible Church of God
Services at Liberty Bible Church God, 6615 Veterans Memorial Highway, are as follows: Sunday School, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday morning services, 10:30 a.m., with children’s church and nursery provided; Sunday evening services, 6 p.m.; Wednesday night Bible study at 6 p.m. The Rev. — Central Baptist Church, will host a trunk or treat from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31. There will be an inflatable slide, free food and lots of candy. If the weather allows all festivities will be held in the parking lot; otherwise, they will move inside. This event is free and open to the public.
Services, thrift store at Trinity UMC
— Trinity United Methodist Church, 307 N. Main St., has Sunday services at 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
— Trinity United Methodist Church Thrift Store is open every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Shepherds Church services
Shepherds Church Independent Full Gospel, 1107 Pioneer Drive, has Sunday services at 10:45 a.m. All are welcome.
Food pantry at First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., operates a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church. The pantry is open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.
Services at First Presbyterian Church
Worship services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Adult Sunday school classes begin at 9:30 a.m. Children’s and youth Sunday School classes will resume Oct. 20. Worship will be lively and traditional.
