CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 8:37 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Pine Ridge Road.

— At 10:47 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted Winchester Fire-EMS with a fire at Freeman Corporation, 415 Magnolia St.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Ethan R. Elam, 19, was charged Tuesday with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

— Brandie D. Harris, 35, was charged Wednesday with theft of identity and was served two warrants.

Reports

— At 10:02 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 21 Belmont Ave. after someone attempted to break into a vehicle during the night.

— At 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a riding lawn mower being sold without permission.

— At 11:19 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Pizza Hut, 8 Carol Road, after a truck damaged the air conditioning unit.

— At 12:14 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 25 Wainscott Ave. concerning an assault.

— At 3:58 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 208 E. Hickman St. after a man passed a counterfeit $100 bill. Ethan R. Elam was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

— At 5:18 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 188 Westside Drive to assist social workers.

— At 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 3459 Stamper Drive concerning a person making threats.

— At 8:24 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. concerning a theft of a cell phone.

— At 8:27 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 278 April Way for a domestic disturbance.

— At 8:33 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 311 Waveland Ave. concerning a person making threats.

— At 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 355 E. Washington St. concerning a theft.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Anthony Romeo, 61, of Union, was charged Tuesday with driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license and no insurance.

Reports

— At 2:34 p.m. Oct. 21, deputies were called to 290 Van Meter Road concerning a counterfeit $100 bill.

— At 6:14 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Hall’s on the River, 1225 Athens Boonesboro Road, after two people left without paying for $71.26 in food.

— At 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, 200 Glenway Road, concerning a person attacking staff.

Accidents

— At noon Tuesday, deputies responded to an accident on Bypass Road in which a vehicle driven by Anthony J. Romeo of Union rear-ended a stopped vehicle, operated by Shane L. Conley of 409 Tremont Lane. Romeo was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with a possible panic attack.

— At 2:51 p.m. Oct. 24, deputies responded to an injury accident on Iron Works Road in which Larry J. Kurtsinger of Nicholasville was traveling south when his motorcycle went off the road and struck a ditch. Kurtsinger was ejected from the motorcycle. He was flown from the scene to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 17 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, one diabetic case and four seizures.

— At 1:02 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to 4 N. Bloomfield Road for a ruptured natural gas line.

— At 2:19 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to 414 S. Main St. for an electrical smell inside a house.

— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 10 general medical calls, four cardiac cases, two respiratory cases, two seizures and one stroke.

— At 10:04 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Freeman Corporation, 415 Magnolia St., for a machine fire.

— At 11:32 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 41 N. Main St. It was a false alarm.
