CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 8:14 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a fire at GenCanna, 4274 Colby Road.

— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to 15 general medical calls, one respiratory case and one diabetic case.

— At 9:22 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a report of smoke in a residence at 326 Boone Ave. There was no fire.

— At 5:13 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 304 April Way. It was a false alarm.

— At 6:24 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Brown Proctor Apartments, 108 S. Main St. It was a false alarm.

— At 8:15 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted Clark County Fire Department firefighters with a call at GenCanna, 4274 Colby Road.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Laura Gentry, 49, of Hillsboro, was charged Thursday with no registration plate, driving under the influence, possession of a controlled, improper display of registration plate, driving on a suspended operator’s license and giving officer false information.

Reports

— At 2:53 p.m. Thursday, deputies took a report concerning a phone scam.

— At 6:34 p.m. Thursday, deputies took a report for a harassment complaint.

— At 10:11 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 684 Jones Nursery Road after someone broke into a residence and took several items.
