CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Timothy Anderson, 43, was charged Tuesday with theft by unlawful taking.

Accidents

— At 6:28 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Lexington Road in which Michael A. Barnett of Lexington was turning left from Venable Road and an oncoming vehicle, driven by Betty G. Nelson of 845 Rosemary Drive, struck the trailer on Barnett’s vehicle. Nelson was extricated from her vehicle and transported to Clark Regional Medical Center for back and neck pain.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 14 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, one respiratory case and one seizure.

— At 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to Beverly White Towers, 4 N. Maple St. the problem was caused by an overheated heating unit.

— At 1:06 p.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Combs Ferry and Todds roads.
