Tickets are now on sale for a Christmas-themed murder mystery dinner  at The Winchester Opera House.

Adventure Theatre will present “Trouble at the Santa Training Workshop: A Christmas Murder Mystery Dinner” Dec. 20. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. Seating begins at 6:45 p.m.

The production, written by Adam Sovkoplas, follows the team leader at Santa’s Training Workshop, Crystal Clearwater, who attempts to remind a know-it-all, a newbie and a hardcore elf named Waffles of the “dos and don’ts” of being a commercial holiday character, according to Adventure Theatre’s website.

But things aren’t “all Christmas carols and candy canes when this group of misfits come together.”

The murder mystery is hosted by Loma’s at the Opera House. Loma’s is offering its signature salad — organic spring mix topped with dried cranberries, cheese crumbles and praline pecans; served with raspberry vinaigrette — as a starter.

For the entree, attendees can choose between spinach and ricotta stuffed shells, served with broccolini and Parmesan mozzarella crostini or roulade of pork tenderloin stuffed with a Granny Smith apple and sausage dressing with an apricot chutney.

Dessert will be chocolate cake, and drinks include water, tea or lemonade.

Tickets are $43 which includes a show and a meal; $5 of every ticket goes to Leeds Center for the Arts. Gratuity is not included.

Loma’s can accommodate dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, allergy restrictions and more.
