CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— William Preston, 72, of 219 Hickory Lane, was charged Nov. 26 with driving under the influence.
— Raymond A. Tallent, 53, of 4524 Ecton Road, was charged Nov. 29 with driving under the influence, reckless driving and speeding.
— Shirley Moore, 49, of 10 Virginia Ave., was charged Nov. 29 with driving under the influence (fourth offense) and driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license.
— William Gilbert, 40, of London, was charged Nov. 29 with driving under the influence, careless driving, no tail lights, no registration plate, no insurance, possession of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, prescription controlled substance not in proper container and second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Darla Northern, 52, of Lexington, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance and no registration receipt.
— Richard Baldwin, 19, of 201 Carter Drive, was charged Monday with disorderly conduct, alcohol intoxication, resisting arrest and fourth-degree assault.
— Darrin Tays, 38, of 212 Yorktown Drive, was charged Monday with possession of drug paraphernalia and was served a warrant.
Reports
— At 8:39 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 2540 Kiddville Road after a hay fork was stolen from a barn.
— At 4:47 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to 2842 Old Ruckerville Road after someone broke into a residence and took several items.
Accidents
— At 7:17 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Rockwell Road in which Rachel Little of Paris said she was turning from Van Meter Road onto Rockwell Road and did not see an oncoming vehicle, driven by Randy E. Lewis of 601 Cypress St. A passenger in Lewis’ vehicle, Darinda L. Newsome, was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 11 general medical calls, one cardiac case and three respiratory cases.
— At 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1975 Bypass Road. It was a false alarm.
— At 5:24 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1025 Bypass Road. It was a false alarm.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 6:31 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Trapp Goff’s Corner and Pine Ridge roads.
