CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— William Preston, 72, of 219 Hickory Lane, was charged Saturday with reckless driving, driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to produce insurance card.

— Penelope R. Powell, 43, of Morehead, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence (second offense).

Reports

— At 8:15 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to 2360 Goshen Road after a chain link fence was damaged during the night.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to 13 general medical calls, one cardiac case, one diabetic case and one stroke.

— At 6:45 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 93 mile marker on Interstate 64.

Charged

— Norma Sue Baker, 29, was charged Monday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— William Kardlo Hatton, 34, was charged Monday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts).

— Darrell Lewis Hawkins, 48, was charged Monday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts).

— Shavaughn B. Morton, 29, was charged Monday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— At 3:57 p.m. Friday, officers responded 211 W. Hickman St. concerning someone attempting to sell the complainant methamphetamine.

— At 4:14 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the area of Wilson Lane and Lexington Avenue concerning an assault.

— At 5:06 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 321 Essex Court concerning a stolen wallet and cash from a vehicle.

— At 11:57 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 15 First St. concerning a breaking and entering in which the caller said he believes his ex-girlfriend made a key, illegally entered his property and had intercourse on his bed while he was not home.

— At 7:01 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 599 Evans St. concerning a vehicle that was stolen while it was being warmed up.

— At 8:41 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 401 N. Maple St. concerning a pay card that was wiped out by someone in Tennessee.

— At 12:15 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to 1500 Bypass Road concerning shoplifting.

— At 5:29 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to 1859 Bypass Road concerning shoplifting.

— At 8:38 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 1859 Bypass Road concerning someone who “quick changed” the cashier and was able to leave with $750.

— At 9:33 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning shoplifting.

— At 10:03 a.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a theft of money and a cell phone.

— At 12:04 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a property damage complaint at McDonald’s.

— At 5:59 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 11 Hiawatha Trail for a fight in progress.

— At 2:53 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted another agency with a call at Rockwell and Clintonville roads.

— At 7:42 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Kiddville Road.

— At 11:04 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 2595 Muddy Creek Road.

— At 11:52 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at 1979 Jackson Ferry Road.

— At 7:20 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a controlled burn at Ecton and Sewell Shop roads.

— At 8:40 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on True Lane.

— At 1 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at the 96 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 4:50 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at the 89 mile marker on Interstate 64.
