Time is running out to get those falls leaves out of the yard as city wide leaf collection ends Dec. 28.
Public Works Director Patrick Clark said city residents should rake leaves to the utility strips in front of their homes but not into the streets since that could clog the storm drains.
Clark also urged residents not to leave vehicles sitting at the curb in front of or behind piles of leaves because the city will not be able to be get to these to pick them up.
According to a news release, the Public Works Department will not pick up piles of leaves that have tree limbs or other foreign debris. These items can damage machines.
