WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Dwayne I. Bell, 54, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence.

— Robert G. Cable, no age given, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle.

— Brandy Newton, 43, was charged Tuesday with disregarding a stop sign and driving on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.

— Geoffrey Sebesta, 44, was charged Tuesday with disregarding a traffic control device, driving on a suspended or revoked license, possession of marijuana and was served a warrant.

Reports

— At 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report of stolen mail.

— At 3:02 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report of a package stolen from someone’s front porch.

— At 3:47 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to 1661 Bypass Road concerning a dog and cell phone stolen from a vehicle.

— At 3:59 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to 900 Bypass Road concerning an assault. The victim said a man got of his vehicle and punched him in the face then left the parking lot.

— At 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to 1221 Bypass Road concerning a possible DUI.

— At 9:26 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the area of Cook Avenue and Pendleton Street concerning an aggressive dog on the loose.

— At 10:31 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to 731 N. Maple St. concerning a possible DUI.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, emergency personnel responded to 11 general medical calls, three cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, two diabetic cases, one stroke and one overdose.

— At 1:22 p.m. Tuesday, emergency personnel responded to a wreck at 1287 McClure Road.
