City wide leaf collection ends next week

The date for the final pickup of city-wide leaf collection has now been changed to Dec. 27.
Leaf collection will end Dec. 27, Public Works Director Patrick Clark said.
City residents should rake leaves to the utility strips in front of their homes but not into the streets since that could clog the storm drains.
Clark also urged residents not to leave vehicles sitting at the curb in front of or behind piles of leaves because the city will not be able to be get to these to pick them up.
