Charged

— Jason Brewster, 36, was charged Thursday with buying or possessing drug paraphernalia and was served a warrant.

— Jeremy Brown, no age given, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and second-degree disorderly conduct.

— Donovan King, 55, was charged Thursday with failure to or improper signal, driving on a suspended or revoked license, receiving stolen property under $10,000 and failure to notify address change.

— Fred Wayne reed, 29, was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine), public intoxication of a controlled substance and theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) $500 or more.

— At 2:56 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to 1515 W. Lexington Ave. concerning shoplifting.

— At 3:29 p.m. Thursday, officers responded got 106 Linden Ave. concerning two people throwing a hatchet.

— At 4:02 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report of fraudulent use of a credit card to make online purchases.

— At 5:38 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to 211 Lindsey Court concerning a breaking and entering in which DVDs and medication were stolen from the home.

— At 11:52 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to 39 S. Maple St. concerning shoplifting.

— On Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to 13 general medical calls, three cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, one seizure, one stroke and three overdoses.

— At 7:16 p.m. Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to a wreck at Buckner and Flanagan streets.

— At 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to a wreck at Lexington Avenue and Bypass Road.

— On Thursday, emergency personnel responded to eight general medical calls, three cardiac cases, one overdose and one obstetrics case.
