CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Scott W. Worrell, 56, of Lexington, was charged Friday with speeding, failure to produce insurance card, driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

— Ashley R. Upchurch, 27, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was charged Friday with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Nicole M. Satterfield, 29, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was charged Friday with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— John Nunan, 55, of 543 N. Maple St., was charged Thursday with driving under the influence, no seat belt and careless driving.

— Timothy Akers, 58, of Richmond, was charged Friday with driving under the influence, speeding and careless driving.

— Christopher Leedy, 32, of 104 Baldwin Ave., was charged Saturday with no seat belt, no proof of insurance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription controlled substance not in proper container and second-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Stacy Hatton, 44, of 137 Eastridge Drive, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence, operating on a suspended operator’s license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.

Reports

— At 8:40 a.m. Friday, deputies were called to Stuff Recycling, 6169 Lexington Road, concerning the theft of a reciprocating saw and battery.

— At 9:43 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 505 Harvard Drive after someone broke a window on a vehicle during the night.

Accidents

— At 1:31 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident near the 94 mile marker on Interstate 64 in which Matthew H. Stewart of Lexington was east when he lost control of his vehicle after it hydroplaned. The vehicle then struck the center wall. Stewart was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to nine general medical calls, one cardiac case, three respiratory cases and two seizures.

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 28 general medical calls, nine cardiac cases, 13 respiratory cases, one stroke and two overdoses.

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to 11 general medical calls, four cardiac cases, five respiratory cases, one diabetic case and two seizures.

— At 12:46 p.m. Thursday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 5920 Lexington Road.

— At 4:55 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 100 Winchester Plaza. It was a false alarm.

— At 11:16 a.m. Sunday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 1345 Irvine Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Thomas McEldowney Buckner, 40, was charged Friday with third-degree criminal mischief, alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, theft by unlawful taking and resisting arrest.

— Demitri Deontaye Dean, 24, was charged Sunday with driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license (second offense), disregarding a stop sign and driving under the influence.

— Savannah Jewell Hall, 35, was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft by unlawful taking.

— Brianna Florence Mitchell, 22, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking and unlawful transaction with a minor.

— John F. Nunan, 55, was charged Friday with leaving the scene of an accident, first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree assault.

— Timothy Eric Tankersley, 24, was charged Sunday with being a fugitive from another state.

— Ridge Douglas Wilson, 32, was charged Friday with public intoxication and endangering the welfare of a minor.

— Angela Gale Felts, 30, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Reports

— At 10:27 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 20 Holly Ave. after someone ransacked a vehicle.

— At 10:36 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 23 Taylor Ave. for a criminal trespassing complaint.

— At 3:11 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 125 E. Broadway St. for a domestic disturbance.

— At  2:56 p.m. Friday, officers took a report for an animal cruelty complaint.

— At 5:27 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning two suspected shoplifters. Brianna Florence Mitchell and a 15-year-old were arrested for theft by unlawful taking. Mitchell was also charged with unlawful transaction with a minor.

— At 9:35 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1960 Bypass Road concerning a person slouched over the steering wheel of a car with a toddler in the back seat. Ridge Wilson was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 4:19 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 225 Oxford Drive concerning a theft of packages from a porch.

— At 12:58 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 27 E. Washington St. for a criminal trespassing complaint.

— At 11:13 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 321 Oxford Drive after someone broke into a safe at the residence and took jewelry.

— At 11:35 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 317 W. Broadway St. after someone broke into a vehicle while it was impounded and took items. 

— At 10:36 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 306 N. Main St. for a breaking and entering complaint.

— At 5:33 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 418 Skylark Drive concerning the theft of a firearm.

— At 9:04 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning a possible intoxicated driver. Angela Felts was arrested on multiple charges.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:44 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 5920 Lexington Road.

— At 8:23 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted another agency with a call at 145 Patrick Lane.

— At 2:29 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a structural collapse at 104 Ralston Lane. It was an abandoned house. No injuries were reported.

— At 8:44 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Mount Sterling Road near Interstate 64.

— At 11:17 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near 1345 Irvine Road.

— At 1:33 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 94 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 6:41 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Irvine Road.

— At 7 p.m. Monday, firefighters were called to 209 Chardonnay Court for an investigation.
