Patty Lee Walk Prater of Campton, Kentucky, widow of the late Lester Prater, departed this life Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the age of 69 years.

She was a daughter of the late John and Louise Barnes Walk born in Wheel Wright, Floyd County, Kentucky on May 7, 1950.

She was a retired state employee, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Michael Wayne Prater and wife, Jill of Liberty, Missouri; seven daughters, Margaret Jeanette Henson and husband, Jim of Campton, Kentucky, Renee Roberts and husband, Lloyd, Jr., of Jackson, Kentucky, Tracy Lynn Patrick and husband Todd of Campton, Kentucky, Nina Nicole Reynolds and husband, Jonathan of Lexington, Kentucky, Melissa Jane Morton and husband, Bruce of Winchester, Kentucky, Shelby Diane Ison and husband, Clint of Lexington, Kentucky and Stella Rose Atkins and husband, David of Morehead, Kentucky; twenty grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Prater; her parents, John and Louise Barnes Walk; three brothers and two sisters, Theda Walk and Earshel Walk. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Porter & Son Chapel in Campton, Kentucky with Bro. Greg Elkins officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Porter and Son Funeral Director’s is in charge of arrangements.
