Merlon D. Rison, 47, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at UK Medical Center.

He was born in Clark County on Aug. 10, 1972, to the late Merlon and Joyce Poe Rison.

He worked as a carpenter most of his life.

He is survived by one daughter, Geri Lynn Rison; one son, Tyler Dwayne Rison; and three grandchildren, Sadie, Grayson and Dylan Rison.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, at Hill Street Pentecostal Church by Gene Jones.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Hill Street Pentecostal Church.

Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
