A Louisville woman is still waiting for a probable cause hearing in Clark County after she allegedly led officers on a pursuit that killed three people.

Tammy Rodriguez, 42, appeared in Clark District Court Wednesday afternoon with her right arm in a sling and her right foot in a boot from her injuries in the Sept. 4, 2019, incident. Rodriguez’s attorney said Rodriguez has pending matters in her Fayette County case which need to be resolved before her Clark County charges moved ahead.

Rodriguez’s preliminary hearing, which would establish probable cause, was rescheduled for March 11.

She is facing multiple counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving and first-degree fleeing or evading police in Clark County from the pursuit.

In Fayette County, Rodriguez is charged with three counts of murder, among other offenses.

According to police, Clark County sheriff’s deputies responded to a complaint of a reckless driver on Interstate 64 on the night of Sept. 4. A pickup truck was traveling east, but made a U-turn through the median and continued west on the interstate toward Lexington.

Winchester Police officers blocked the exits and maintained the pursuit into Lexington, while Clark County deputies ended their involvement.

Police said Rodriguez took the ramp onto northbound Interstate 75 in Lexington, but turned left at the end of the ramp to go south in the northbound lanes. Her truck the collided with two vehicles, killing her sister Debbie Blevins and two people in another car, Taylor Blevins and Caitlyn Bailey. The driver of a third vehicle and a passenger in Rodriguez’s truck were also injured.

Rodriguez is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Fayette Circuit Court for three counts of murder and single counts of first-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment and no operator’s license.
