The George Rogers Clark boys and girls basketball teams each moved in this week’s region-wide media poll.

The boys team fell one spot to second place after dropping back-to-back games for the first time this season.

GRC’s boys team still received one vote and will have a coin flip with Bourbon County to determine who will be the No. 1 seed for the district tournament.

The Lady Cardinals jumped up to the top spot in the region for the first time this year.

Clark County’s girls team has locked up the top-seed in the district tournament and is looking to head to Rupp Arena for the fourth year in a row. Head coach Robbie Graham has his team peaking at the right time as they take over the top spot in the rankings for the first time with three games left before postseason play begins.
