There are six different tryouts sites around the state for middle schoolers to attend and Cardinal Stadium has been selected as one of the sites. The tryout at Cardinal Stadium will be held April 18.

There will be 40-50 eighth-graders selected to the all-star team as well as 40-50 sixth- and seventh-graders on a second team.

The cost to attend the tryout is $35 per athlete and all athletes will receive a t-shirt, combine stats, a good football workout and will get to participate in team tryouts.

The all-star game will be played June 13 somewhere in Kentucky, but the site is still undetermined. GRC’s head coach Oliver Lucas is advocating to get the game to be held at Cardinal Stadium.
