WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Brandon Scott Adams, 31, was charged Wednesday with second-degree robbery and second-degree fleeing or evading police.

— Renita Chaffins, 34, was charged Wednesday with improper equipment, no or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt, failure of non-owner operator to maintain insurance and failure to provide insurance card.

— Cory Dupre, 33, was charged Wednesday with disregarding stop signs and no or expired registration plates.

— Daniel McKinley, 39, was charged Wednesday with no or expired registration plates and no or expired Kentucky registration receipt.

— Kenneth Strunk, 36, was charged with fourth-degree assault (child abuse). Police received a report of a 4-year-old child with a bruise to his face. Strunk admitted to striking the child once. No other signs of physical abuse were present, according to police.

— Ronald David Styles, 42, was charged Wednesday with operating on a suspended or revoked license, no motorcycle operators license and failure of non-owner operator to maintain insurance.

— Lawrence Wells, 38, was charged Wednesday with flagrant non-support.

Reports

— At 12:09 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 140 Stevenson Heights concerning an assault.

— At 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 31 E. Washington St. concerning two subjects fighting over drugs.

— At 7:48 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the area of Patio Street and Rowland Avenue concerning gunshots heard in the area.

— At 1:02 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the area of Highland and Broadway streets concerning someone throwing rocks into the intersection.

— At 4:08 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 30 Madison Ave. concerning stolen mail.

— At 8:01 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 27 W. Broadway St. concerning shoplifting.

— At 8:59 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report of a planned “prostitution party” in Winchester. The caller said the information came from a Facebook post that said an address would be given the day of the party and entrance would be $40.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— Over the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 12 general medical calls, one cardiac case and one respiratory case.
