WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to eight general medical calls, two respiratory cases and one stroke.

 

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 9:44 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Becknerville Road.

— At 12:41 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 5250 Revilo Road.

 

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Joshua McIntosh, 27, was charged Friday with driving under the influence, possession of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to wear seat belt, careless driving and possession of marijuana.

— Timothy Damron, 55, was charged Friday with driving under the influence, careless driving, disregarding a traffic control device and failure to wear seat belt.

Reports

— At 4:13 p.m. March 21, deputies were called to Rockwell Road concerning a stolen vehicle.

 

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— James Monroe Prater, 48, was charged Monday with driving on a suspended operator’s license, first-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, third-degree assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— George Lee Sexton, 51, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

Reports

— At 10:20 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 5 W. Broadway St. for a domestic disturbance.

Accidents

— At 3:31 p.m. March 19, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which a motorcycle and a vehicle collided at the intersection with Burns Avenue. The driver of the vehicle, 84-year-old William Berryman of 8 Chickadee Drive, told officers he stopped at the stop sign on South Burns Avenue. He said the road was clear in both directions so he entered the intersection and was struck by the motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle, 29-year-old Daniel Jones of 14 Apache Trail Way, was unconscious at the scene and was pronounced dead at Clark Regional Medical Center. A witness said he was stopped behind Berryman’s vehicle, and saw the motorcycle approaching the intersection. The witness said the vehicle pulled into the intersection and collided with the motorcycle.
