Daniel Shane Jones, 29, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on April 9, 1990, to Greg (Jenny) Jones and Audra (Kevyn Slaughter) Carmichael.

In addition to his parents he is survived by sisters, Courtney (Taylor) Spencer, Bailey Carmichael, and Sarah Jones; brother, Paul Jones; his fiance’ Cassie Towe and her parents, Andy and Theresa Towe. Grandparents, Glenda and the late John Paul Jones and Bennie and Sue Burns; aunts and uncles, Tanya and Charlie Pasley and Allison and Cole Coffey; niece, Natalie Spencer. Nephew, River Towe; a host of friends including Vince Towe, Joey Shepherd, Jake Welch, James Martin, and the line crew at Applebee’s; fur babies Nibbler and Zelda; and numerous cousins.

He always let you know where you stood with him and for that we are grateful. He will be incredibly missed by all who loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers go on a hike, adopt a pet, commune with nature or smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.
