Boyd Tipton Jr., 82, widower of Iva Doralene Mershon Tipton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

A native of Clark County, he was the son of the late Boyd Tipton, Sr. and Pauline Ockomon Tipton. Mr. Tipton was a retired Clark County Postal employee, a member of Central Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Tipton was a former member of the Ephesus Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl L. Flack of Richmond; a son, Michael E. Tipton of Winchester; a sister, Betty Guy of Winchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with the requests of our governor graveside services will be private at the Winchester Cemetery.
