Alberta Stevens Eades McKinney, 90, widow of Leonard J. Eades and Wilburn G. McKinney, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at her home. A native of Clark County, born April 26, 1929, to the late Sherman and Letha Jordan Stevens. She was a homemaker and a member of Allansville Baptist Church. Alberta Stevens Eades McKinney, 90, widow of Leonard J. Eades and Wilburn J. McKinney, passed away on April 24, 2020 at her daughter and sons-in-law home in Clark County, KY.
A native of Clark County , she was born on April 26, 1929, to the late Sherman and Letha Jordan Stevens. She was a homemaker, a member of Allansville Baptist Church and attend Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Leaetta Eades (Gene) Skinner and Deborah Eades Phillips, both of Winchester, KY; grandchildren, Leonard (Sybil) Skinner, Nathan (Josie) Skinner of Lexington, KY, Larry (Amanda) Phillips and Caroline Phillips of Winchester, KY; great grandchildren, Jacob Phillips, Logan Phillips, Timothy Phillips all of Winchester, KY and Kaitlin Skinner of Lexington, KY; aunt, Ella Faye Jordan Richey of Lexington, KY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Alberta was preceded in death by three siblings, Nola (J.R.) Cruse, Oleta (Butler) Skinner and Sylvester Stevens.
Due to statewide gathering restrictions set forth by current developments, private graveside services will be held at the Log Lick Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her son-in-law, grandsons, and great grandsons.
