Juanita Jewell Baber, 91, widow of James Robert Baber, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020. She was born on July 21, 1928, in Clark County, to the late Rev. Victor and Anna Lee Watson Jewell. She was a graduate of Clark County High School. She was a member of Liberty Bible Church of God and the Joy Group, “Giggles” Ladies’ Group and Primetimers’ Group of the church. She was employed for 46 years at the Winchester Clothing, Curlee Clothing and Hart Shafner and Marx Clothing Companies. She was a kind, loving and wonderful person.
She is survived by two sisters, Kathryn Faye Hulette and Joyce Haggard; two nieces, Charlotte (Johnny) Richardson and Barbara (Vance) Patterson; three great nieces, Anita Michelle (Lane) Berryman, Sheila (Craig) Rogers and Kathie Foster; seven great-great nieces, Amy Jones, Jessica Jones, Haley (Bradley) Ross, Gracean Rogers, Ashtyn Rogers, Kylie Harper and Lilly Adams; one great-great-great nephew, Jacob Ball; one great-great-great niece, Ariana Airth.
There will be a drive-in funeral at the Liberty Bible Church of God, 6615 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Winchester, Kentucky, on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Rev. Bill Konstantopoulos and Rev. Lonnie Storms will be conducting the service. Pallbearers will be Johnny Richardson, Vance Patterson, Craig Rogers, Lane Berryman, Bill Baber and Tim Riddell.
