LETTER: Elkins needs a lesson in importance of masks
There is, in a worldwide pandemic such as this, a need for the people to feel secure with their leaders.
Part of that comes from trust that the people we elect will show us the best course to remain safe.
Mr. William Elkins, as county attorney, has betrayed that trust by being more concerned in taking Gov. Andy Beshear on than in leading Winchester by example.
Perhaps he needs yet another lesson in why we must be masked. It is not only to save the masked person but those with whom he comes in contact.
Grow up, Mr. Elkins. This isn’t about you or your civil liberties. It’s about those of us you’re suppose to be serving.
