The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court May 7, 2020, with Judge Jean Chenault Logue presiding.

— Matthew Carmen, murder (two counts), amended to first-degree manslaughter, pleaded guilty, recommended 15 years concurrent; first-degree wanton endangerment, pleaded guilty, recommended five years; tampering with physical evidence, pleaded guilty, recommended five years; sentencing June 3.

— Ashley Bailey, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, amended to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended three years, probated for three years with drug court completion; sentencing July 2.

— Jason Lewis, first-degree fleeing or evading police, sentenced to two years and one day; driving under the influence (third offense), sentenced to 30 days, 24-month license suspension, fined, concurrent; third-degree assault, sentenced to two years and one day concurrent; first-degree wanton endangerment, sentenced to two years and one day concurrent; carrying a concealed deadly weapon, sentenced to 30 days concurrent; possession of marijuana, sentenced to 30 days concurrent; failure to maintain insurance, sentenced to five days in lieu of fines; driving on a suspended operator’s license, sentenced to 30 days concurrent; all probated for two years.

— Bradley Mudd, trafficking in a controlled substance (three counts), sentenced to six years concurrent; second-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.
