WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Donald Rex Stephens, 56, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
— Michael Eugene Woosley, 38, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Reports
— At 8:48 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 2 Ratliff Court concerning a stolen bicycle.
— At 11:59 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 110 Camelot Drive after someone opened a cell phone account using the caller’s name.
— At 9:27 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a theft of a purse and other property at Dollar General.
— At 5:09 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 225 Oxford Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.
— At 7:16 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 625 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a stolen wallet.
— At 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning an assault.
Accidents
— At 5:01 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which Minnie M. Flinchum of 349 Gist Drive said she was attempting to get into the left turn lane to turn onto Maple Street when she collided with another vehicle. The other driver, Joseph E. Carter of 14 A St., said he was stopped in traffic when the other vehicle went around his and collided. Carter was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At about 10 a.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Irvine Road.
— At 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to 303 Potomac Drive for a smell of smoke.
— At 10:09 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 4925 Rockwell Road.
— At 9:47 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on McClure Road.
— At 3:04 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Irvine Road.
— At 4:28 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 97 mile marker.
— At 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 97 mile marker.
— At 5:44 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Mount Sterling Road.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— From Monday through Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 39 general medical calls, one cardiac case, four respiratory cases, two seizures, two strokes and four overdoses.
— At 10:09 p.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 4925 Rockwell Road.
— At 5:09 p.m. Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 98 mile marker on Interstate 64.
CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Reports
— At 1:11 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 8481 Old Boonesboro Road for a harassment complaint.
— At 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 8905 Wades Mill Road after a mailbox was damaged.
Accidents
— At 5:04 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 97 mile marker in which traffic had stopped for another accident. Scottie D. Green of Jeffersonville said he was traveling east when traffic stopped suddenly and he struck a vehicle, driven by Nicholas R. Hensley of Owingsville. Hensley’s vehicle then struck another vehicle, driven by Blanca E. Hernandez of Mount Sterling. Hernandez was flown from the scene to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with a possible neck and chest injury.
