Sarah Ann Elizabeth Soard, of Winchester, known to her friends as SAES, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Sarah was 19 years old, worked as a pharmacy tech and loved to write poetry. She aspired to be a basketball coach and have her poems published. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Sarah left behind a multitude of family and friends, along with her pets, Athena and Pyper. She is survived by her father, David Soard and mother, Darlene Soard; sister, Ashley Brashears (Garrick Hawkins); niece, Khari Hawkins; brother, Lucus Brashears (Megan Sum); several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
She is joining her grandmothers, Sylvia Campbell Richardson and Catherine Eudell Duncan and aunts, Bonnie Fraley and Sharon Soard on the streets of Heaven.
Services will be private at Grace Baptist Church by Pastor Pat Finley. Burial will follow in Clay City at the Eaton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dylan Keller, Terry Fraley, Billy Fraley and Ray Fraley. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
