CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 11:11 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Muddy Creek Road.

— At 5:07 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 92 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 5:39 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 95 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 10:58 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 100 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 9:49 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Lamond Ruelle.

— At 12:41 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Old Stone Church Road.

— At 9:56 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a possible structure fire at 1446 L&E Junction Road.

— At 11:49 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Colby Road.

— At 1:19 p.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Eastridge Drive.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— From Thursday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 55 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, five respiratory cases, two diabetic cases, four seizures, two strokes and three overdoses.

— At 12:47 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to Brown Proctor Apartments, 108 S. Main St., concerning a stuck elevator.

— At 4:18 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Ashland Avenue and Broadway Street.

— At 5:07 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 95 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 10:58 a.m. Friday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 100 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 10:37 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at the Clark County Detention Center. It was a false alarm.

— At 5:47 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a trash fire at 308 E. Broadway St.

— At 12:42 a.m. Sunday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 345 Old Stone Church Road.

— At 11:49 a.m. Sunday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near 4506 Colby Road.

— At 8:07 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 221 S. Burns Ave.

 

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Andrew Gaston, 30, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence.

— Brandi J. Chambers, 40, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Stacey Lynn Johnson, 31, was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking and was served a warrant.

— Edwin M. Leis, 40, was charged Sunday with first-degree wanton endangerment, fourth-degree assault and public intoxication.

— Nicholas Ryan McCarty, 33, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Candace Michelle Moore, 36, was charged Saturday with second-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Jennifer Jo Overpeck, 44, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Michelle Denise Overpeck, 46, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Michael Eugene Woosley, 38, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Reports

— At 3:17 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning an assault between customers.

— At 10:28 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a stolen ashtray.

— At 10:30 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 44 Mockingbird Valley Road concerning an altered check.

— At 6:09 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 350 N. Maple St. for a foot pursuit.

— At 12:45 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 202 Atrium Place after someone broke into a vehicle and took several items of property.

— At 3:29 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. concerning a person trying to steal beer.

— At 12:41 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 24 Second St. concerning a person who broke a window at a residence.

— At 12:57 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 10 Taylor Ave. for a breaking and entering complaint.

— At 3:32 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 519 College St. concerning an unauthorized purchase on a credit card.

— At 5:56 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 543 N. Maple St. concerning a person driving with a child hanging out of the door. Edwin Leis was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 10:33 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Kroger, 1661 Bypass Road, concerning a theft.

Accidents

— At 4:17 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to an injury accident on East Broadway Street in which a vehicle driven by Lyle L. Molands of 151 Winn Ave. was crossing Ashland Avenue when he collided with another vehicle, driven by Deanna G. Haddix of 216 Connie Lane. Haddix said she tried to avoid the collision but was unable. Haddix was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

 

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— David C. Crowell, 44, of 174 Westside Drive, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, failure to wear seat belt, driving on a suspended operator’s license, failure to maintain insurance and no registration receipt.

Accidents

— At 5:06 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 93 mile marker in which William J. Garrison of 3785 Old Ruckerville Road lost control of his vehicle when it hydroplaned and struck the concrete divider. Garrison was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 5:38 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident near the 95 mile marker on Interstate 64. Gary Kiskaden of Lexington said he slowed to avoid a stopped vehicle in front of him but could not stop in time and struck a vehicle, driven by Kimberly A. Hollon of Jeffersonville. A third vehicle, driven by Adam F. Hinton of Hillsboro, then struck Kiskaden’s. Hollon and Kiskaden were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
