13 new COVID cases reported

Clark County has had 80 cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday.

The Health Department reported that at 5:10 p.m. June 10, there were 13 new positive cases of the illness resulting from the novel coronavirus. Of those, 10 are residents of Fountain Circle, ranging in age from 51 to 90 years of age.

The Heatlh Department is also reporting that four patients have met the criteria for recovery, two of which are residents of Fountain Circle.

Currently, the department is working 52 active cases.

The county last week had its first COVID-19-related death, involving a resident of the nursing home.
