David Mitchell Gibson, 81, a graduate of Winchester High, returned to his heavenly home on June 9, 2020 after a fall at home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Mildred Gibson, and his brother, Don Gibson.
David is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ethel Jo Gibson, daughters Karen Gibson and Missy Manuel, son Mitch Gibson (Cheryl), grandchildren Graysen Jo Manuel, Krista Brummette and Melissa Brummette, beloved sister Barbara Jo Redding and his furry best buddy, Rainey. He is also survived by his close cousin and namesake, David Mitchell Gibson, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Milward, 1509 Trent Blvd., in Lexington from 12 to 2 p.m. Service will follow at 2 p.m.
