Jerry Young Daugherty, 74, husband of Patricia Hafley Lyons, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

A native of Clark County, Kentucky, he was born on May 13, 1946, to the late Charlie and Sadie Thomas Daugherty.

He was retired from East Kentucky Power, after 44 years of service and a member of Northside Baptist church for 60 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Jerri Lynn (Steve) Dennis; step-children, Lorna Lyons and Scott (Nancy) Lyons; grandchildren, Natalie Dennis, Cody Bussell, Justice Bussell, Dalton Lyons, Brandon Lyons, Nicholas Lyons and Mathew Lyons; siblings, Betty (Malcolm) Luttrell and Gene (Arlene) Daugherty; great-grandson, Owyn Lyons; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Northside Baptist Church by the Rev. Jesse Kline.

Burial will follow in North Middletown Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Dennis, Gene Daugherty, Scott Daugherty, Scott Lyons, Nicholas Lyons, Drake Bussell and Cody Bussell. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Northside Baptist Church.

Scobee Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
