WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Navarro Gomaz, 29, was charged Friday with driving under the influence, no operator’s license, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and reckless driving.

Reports

— At 7:43 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 108 Hampton Ave. concerning a stolen wallet. The caller said he left it in his unlocked vehicle.

— At 8:13 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 40 Hampton Ave. after a knife and shirt were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

— At 12:29 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 109 Moundale Ave. after a handgun was taken from a vehicle during the night.

— At 5:11 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 216 N. Main St. after a handgun and registration were taken from a vehicle. The victim said the car was locked.

— At 8:24 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 225 Oxford Drive concerning an assault.

— At 5:01 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a stolen pickup truck.

— At 6:09 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 220 Oxford Drive after someone broke into a vehicle and took property.

— At 5:41 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 124 Sterling St. concerning the caller’s juvenile daughter sneaking out with an 18 year old during the night.

— At 4:34 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 509 N. Main St. concerning a stolen dog.

— At 3:32 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 102 Springmist Lane concerning an assault.

— At 7:55 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 221 College St. concerning a possible theft.

— At 9:58 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 95 Melbourne St. concerning an assault.

 

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

– At 5:09 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near 613 Colby Road.

— At 12:41 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 90-mile marker on Interstate 64.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— From Thursday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 38 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, five respiratory cases, two diabetic cases, two seizures, one overdose and one obstetric case.

— At 4:51 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 148 Winn Ave. for a smell of gas.

— At 5:14 p.m. Friday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 613 Colby Road.

— At 4:57 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 5 S. Main St. It was a false alarm.

— At 1:23 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 101 New St. It was a false alarm.

— At 5:20 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 1607 Bypass Road for a smell of gas.

— At 12:40 a.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 90-mile marker on Interstate 64.
