— At 9:03 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 4-mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 11:38 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call near the 98-mile marker on Interstate 64.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Owen William Crowe, 54, was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and license plate not legible.

— April Lynn McKeehan, 46, was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Caresa Ann Waller, 29, was charged Thursday with no or expired registration receipt, failure to maintain insurance, no operator’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and no or expired registration plate.

— Hannah E. Barber, 26, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.

— John Allen Hughes, 52, was charged Sunday with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

— Chad Allan Renner, 35, was charged Saturday with second-degree burglary.

— At 9:51 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 1028 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft of medication.

— At 3:41 p.m. Friday, officers took a report at the police department concerning a person making death threats.

— At 3:56 p.m. Friday, officers took a report at the police department concerning the theft of a tool box from a truck.

— At 6:50 p.m. Friday, officers took a report at the police department concerning the caller’s son receiving suspicious text messages.

— At 7:01 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 20 Thoroughbred Plaza concerning an assault.

— At 9:23 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 367 W. Washington St. for a person making threats over social media.

— At 1:17 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 194 Westside Drive concerning a person breaking into a residence through the window. Chad Allan Renner was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.

— At 1:22 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 508 College St. concerning a stolen television from an apartment.

— At 8:29 p.m. Saturday, officers took a report at the police department concerning an emergency protection order.

— At 1:37 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 20 Jackson St. concerning an assault.

— At 8:14 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 151 Linden Ave. concerning a theft of tool boxes.

— At 9:46 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 101 Atrium Place. after someone broke into a vehicle during the night and took cash and change.

— At 10:52 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1360 W. Lexington Ave. after someone broke into a vehicle during the night.

— At 2:32 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 100 Boyd Place concerning a stolen gift card.

— At 2:54 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Place concerning a theft of two firearm magazines.

— At 6:35 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. concerning a counterfeit $20 bill. John Allen Hughes was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Accidents

— At 12:20 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to an injury accident on Bypass Road in which a vehicle driven by Paul E. King of 24 Mahan Court collided with another vehicle driven by Tamiia Hampton of 206 Whitney Court. According to the accident report, King told officers he ran a red light and struck the other vehicle. Hampton and her passenger, Nakiia Hampton, were both transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— From Thursday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 58 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, five respiratory cases, one seizure, one stroke and one obstetric case.

— At 9:03 a.m. Thursday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 4 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 1:14 p.m. Thursday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 9-mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 3:52 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Jackson and Washington streets.

— At 8:01 p.m. Friday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 90-mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At noon Sunday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 11-mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 12:24 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bypass Road and Redwing Drive.

— At 4:37 p.m. Sunday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near 9000 Iron Works Road.
