Achieving Recovery Together, Inc is hosting a Treasured ART Show with its annual fundraiser that will take place in September for National Recovery Month.

Recovery month emphasizes the need to share resources and build networks across the community that support recovery in all its forms.  This year’s theme is Celebrating Connections.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Cairn Coffee House on Main Street.

Visitors can browse, connect with friends, have refreshments, vote and bid on artwork.

Artists have donated their work to Achieving Recovery Together for its annual fundraiser.  The artwork will be on display through Sept. 18 at Cairn Coffee House.

Visitors can place their bid at the reception for the auction and vote for their favorite work.  Vote by $1 (or more) donation for your favorite artwork.

ART will award Best of Show, second- and third-place prizes.

All funds raised will go towards Achieving Recovery Together’s mission.

“With a mission of ‘Just 1 More’ — one more life saved, one more family reunited, one more person breaking the cycle of addiction — ART stands in the gap to impact change in our community,” according to a release from the agency.

ART is an independent, private non-profit organization led and governed by representatives of local communities of recovery.  ART’s focus is on prevention, education, advocacy and recovery support, not only for those struggling with a substance use disorder but also their families.  Services aim to reduce or eliminate the stigma of addiction, which prevents people from seeking treatment.

ART serves Clark and several surrounding counties.
