PHOTO: Frightful fun for a good cause

- These were some of the scarecrows that had arrived at Beech Springs Farm Market Saturday morning for the annual Scarecrow Festival, which this year, because of COVID, is going to be an online auction, which is now open. The country store on Old Boonesboro Road had received 22 scarecrows as of Monday morning, and they were all on display at the store. The scarecrows will be auctioned on the Facebook page www.facebook.com/wccscarecrowfestival by Paypal to raise money for STRIDE, which provides therapeutic recreation for people with disabilities.
