Wendell Harrison “Harry” Reed, 75, widower of Dorothy Faye Reed, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his home. He was born in Powell County, Kentucky, on May 13, 1945, to the late Andrew Jackson and Hazel Frances Rogers Reed. He was a retired from Winchester Municipal after 32 years of service and a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Green Pasture Church.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brother, HT Reed.
Survivors include three children, Mr. and Mrs. Donnie and Marcey Boone, Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Stacey Wiley, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Cathy Reed; ten grandchildren, Chad and Beth Lamb, Sara and James Cundiff, Katty Parks, Bethany and Josh Taylor, Chris and Heather Purvis, Ryan and Merissa Williamson, Makayla Williamson, Duncan Wiley, Logan Wiley, Chris and Sara Boone; 23 grandchildren, Hunter McNabb, Zachary Lamb, Triston Lamb, Abby Combs, Allie Workmen, Arionna Wells, Madison Townsend, Makenzie Townsend, Morgan Parks, Bentley Lamb, Jaxsen Cundiff, Emarie Cundiff, Annabelle Lamb, Kaiden Boone, Kashtyn Williamson, Laneah Williamson, Lilly Purvis, Remi Purvis, Logan Purvis, Ryder Purvis, Isabella Taylor, Devin Taylor, Willow Taylor; four sisters, Peggy and Paul Roberts, Marion and Kenneth Neal, Zannie and King Lewis, and Rosemary and Randle Adkins; two brothers, Ricky and Dona Reed, and Allen and Karen Foley; several extended family members and friends.
Graveside services will be at 1:00PM, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Winchester Cemetery at The White Shelter by Pastor Mary Adams. Pallbearers will be Chad Lamb, Ryan Williamson, Chris Purvis, Roy Townsend, James Cundiff, Jesse Williams, Josh Taylor, as well as his remaining grandsons.
