Burlin “Mick” Barnett, 88, widower of Peggy Baldridge Barnett, passed away on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020. He was born in Knott County, Kentucky, on Aug. 14, 1932, to the late Aster and Ida Nolan Barnett. He was retired from General Motors and a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include three children, Charlene Murray, Janet Lynn Robertson, and Anthony Barnett: four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Aster Jr., Richard, Fariell, and Oliver Barnett: and two sisters, Maxine Hicks and Artie White.

Graveside services were Thursday at Clarmont Memorial Gardens with Dr. Ed Mesta Officiating.
