CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
• Coty L. Sumpter, 34, of Dogwood Lane, was charged Nov. 12 with fourth-degree assault.
• Robert L. Darnell, 43, of Bronston, was charged Nov. 12 with speeding, careless driving, failure to wear seat belts, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended operator’s license and failure to appear.
• Ida Ford, 50, of Stanton, was charged Nov. 12 with driving under the influence, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, no operator’s license and no insurance.
• John P. Gabbard, 70, of Versailles, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
• Scott Darossett, 45, of Boone Avenue, was charged Monday with driving under the influence, reckless driving, no insurance and no seat belt.
Reports
• At 3:47 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to McCullough Lane concerning a possible stolen vehicle.
• At 9:20 a.m. Nov. 11, deputies were called to Rockwell Road after someone broke into a storage unit and stole a television.
• At 1:32 p.m. Nov. 12, deputies were called to Dogwood Lane for a domestic disturbance and assault.
• At 1:57 p.m. Nov. 12, deputies were called to Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, Glenway Road, concerning a possible rape complaint.
• At 11:58 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to Clark Regional Medical Center concerning a person bitten by a dog.
• At 10:36 p.m. Nov. 12, deputies were called to North Maple Street for a reckless driver complaint. Robert L. Darnell was arrested on multiple charges.
• At 7:59 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to the 9-mile marker of the Mountain Parkway after a disabled vehicle was vandalized and the battery was stolen.
• At 3:04 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to Two Mile Road after four tires were slashed on a vehicle.
Accidents
• At 6:49 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road in which Paul E. Roberts of Paris was attempting to pass a garbage truck when the two collided before his vehicle went off the road and struck a mailbox. The garbage truck was driven by Joshua C. Tipton of Verna Drive. A passenger in Tipton’s vehicle, Joshua K. Hooten, was transported to Clark Regional Medical center with unspecified injuries.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
• At 6:50 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road.
• At 1:49 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Robyn Drive.
• At 1 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, Glenway Road.
• At 7 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Edd Lane.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
• Kyesha D. Clark, no age given, was charged Monday with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and third-degree assault.
• Carlos A. Cruz Dominguez, 28, was charged Monday with disregarding a stop sign, reckless driving and driving under the influence.
• Linda N. Gadd, 31, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking and was served a probation violation warrant.
• Melody J. Lawson, 45, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
• Sylvia Mae McLemore, 61, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
• Latosha Kaye Sexton, 32, was charged Wednesday with failure to maintain insurance, driving on a suspended operator’s license and flagrant non-support.

• At 2:40 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Walmart, Bypass Road, concerning a theft of two backpacks filled with merchandise. Linda N. Gadd was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and was served a warrant.
• At 4:57 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Bypass Road after a wheel was stolen from a vehicle.
• At 9:39 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report at the police department concerning the unauthorized use of a credit card.
• At 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Holly Avenue for a vandalism complaint.
• At 11:46 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report at the police department for a harassment complaint.
• At 12:23 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to West Washington Street for a counterfeiting complaint.
• At 1:22 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Oxford Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.
• At 11:19 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Alabama Street concerning a stolen vehicle.
• At 2:37 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Walmart, bypass Road, concerning a theft. Melody J. Lawson was charged with theft by unlawful taking.
• At 3:31 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Hughes Avenue concerning an assault after a person was punched in the face.
• At 4:49 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Earlymeade Drive concerning a theft from a vehicle.
• At 11:29 p.m. Wednesday officers were called to Chatham Place concerning a stolen necklace.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
• From Monday through Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 34 general medical calls, three cardiac cases, four respiratory cases, one seizure, one stroke and two overdoses.
• At 6:50 a.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident on Irvine Road.
• At 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Whitney Court for a smell of gas.
