CLARK COUNTY FIRE

• At 1:37 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Monet Boulevard.

• At 10:36 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at McClure Road and Southwind Drive.

• At 1:52 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Colby and Colby Hills roads.

• At 2:15 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Bender Lane.

• At 2:30 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Old Boonesboro Road.

• At 6:06 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Monet Boulevard.

• At 10:05 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Glenway Road.

• At 9:15 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Cole Road.

• At 10 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Monet Boulevard.

• At 11:21 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a spill on Watts Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

• Mary J. Hatfield, 43, was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking and second-degree criminal trespass.

• Justin Harold Rawlins, 32, was charged Friday with first-degree strangulation.

• Betty Nicole Sheeley, 30, was charged Sunday with possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and theft of identity.

• James Martin Webb, 48, was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary.

Reports

• At 12:33 p.m. Friday, officers were called to East Washington Street concerning an assault. Justin Rawlins was arrested for first-degree strangulation.

• At 5:52 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Milwood Drive concerning a recovered wallet.

• At 4:47 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to College Street for a burglary complaint. James Webb was arrested for second-degree burglary.

• At 8:16 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Bypass Road concerning an assault.

Accidents

• At 7:50 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident on Boone Avenue in which a vehicle driven by De’Terious Knowles of Jameson Way, Winchester, was traveling north when he attempted to stop but his vehicle slid into a stopped vehicle, driven by Arsenio Conner of Oxford Drive, Winchester. Conner’s passenger, Opal Bloomfield, was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

• From Thursday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 40 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, seven respiratory cases and three diabetic cases.

• At 10:36 p.m. Thursday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at McClure Road and Southwind Drive.

• At 1:53 p.m. Friday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Colby and Colby Hills roads.

• At 7:52 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Boone Avenue.

• At 4:24 a.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to Tyler Banks Court for a smell of gas.

• At 8:15 a.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to Clark Regional Medical Center for an alarm sounding. It was a false alarm.

• At 6:22 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bypass Road and Boone Avenue.

Reports

• At 7:54 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Becknerville Road concerning a stolen vehicle.

• At 8:23 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Save-A-Lot, Ecton Road, after someone broke into a vending machine.

• At 4:24 p.m. Friday, deputies took a report concerning an unemployment claim in Ohio obtained using the caller’s information.

• At 10:12 a.m. Nov. 29, deputies were called to Iron Works Road concerning a stolen vehicle.

• At 4:08 .am. Sunday, deputies were called to Reservoir Court after someone entered the water treatment plant and broke a window.

• At 12:37 p.m. Friday, deputies took a report at the sheriff’s office concerning an identity theft complaint.

• At 11:46 a.m. Sunday, deputies took a report at the sheriff’s office concerning a person making threats against the caller and her children.

• At 6:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to Killarney Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.

• At 3:53 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Colby Road after a vehicle drove through a fence.

• At 11:20 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Thompson Station Road

Accidents

• At 1:51 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Colby Road in which Lillyian Cooper of Belmont Avenue, Winchester said another vehicle stopped suddenly in front of her and she could not avoid a collision. The driver of the other vehicle, John V. Pohl of Colby Hills, said he was stopped to turn left when his vehicle was hit from behind. Cooper was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

• At 2:06 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Colby Road in which Steven Carroll of North Magnolia Street, Winchester, said he was traveling east when he crested a hill and saw an accident ahead. Carroll said he swerved to avoid the accident, but went through a yard and hit a stream. Carroll and his passenger, Ashley D. Wafford of Shala Mar Rue, Winchester, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
