CLARK COUNTY FIRE

• At 11:40 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a report of smoke in the area on McCullough Lane.

• At 2 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on True Lane.

• At 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a possible fire on Killarney Drive.

• At 10:48 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Colby Road.

• At 2:05 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at the 92 mile marker on Interstate 64.

• At 3:37 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Glenway Road.

• At 11:31 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Dogwood Lane.

• At 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Ecton Road and Winn Avenue.

• At 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Iron Works Road for an investigation.

• At 6:27 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 7-mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

• At 4:37 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Miller Hunt Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

• Nantina L. George, no age given, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

• Marcus Anthony Haynes, no age given, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

• Chad Brandon Hostetler, 32, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

• Ashley Nicole Mabe, 30, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking and third-degree burglary.

Reports

• At 7:38 a.m. Monday, officers were called to Surrey Court after someone hit a mailbox during the night.

• At 1:43 p.m. Monday, officers took a report at the police department concerning the theft of a cell phone, ear buds, video games and clothes.

• At 1:04 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Runnymeade Drive after a house for sale was rolled with toilet paper. The teenage girls who did it apologized.

• At 2 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to West Washington Street concerning cold checks.

• At 11:32 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to West Washington Street for a property damage complaint after a known person damaged a car window.

• At 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to West Hickman Street concerning fraudulent purchases on the caller’s bank account.

• At 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Jackson Street after someone broke into a garage and stole food.

• At 7:38 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Sycamore Street concerning someone sending the caller’s wife inappropriate texts.

• At 11:24 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to North Main Street after someone broke in.

Accidents

• At 5:43 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an injury accident at Walmart, Bypass Road, in which Samuel L. Smith of Georgia Street said he was driving through the parking lot when he may have blacked out. The vehicle then struck a post and a pedestrian, William A. Kissick of Mount Sterling. Kissick was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

• From Monday through Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 38 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, eight respiratory cases, one diabetic case, two seizures, two strokes and one overdose.

• At 5:44 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bypass Road.

• At 1:54 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Ecton Road and Winn Avenue.

• At 6:27 p.m. Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 7-mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

Reports

• At 2:13 p.m. Dec. 8, deputies responded to a vehicle fire near the 92-mile marker on Interstate 64.

• At 4:25 p.m. Dec. 8, deputies were called to Schollsville Road for a fight.

• At 10:09 a.m. Dec. 8, deputies were called to Irvine Road concerning a missing pet cow.

• At 1:46 a.m. Dec. 8, deputies were called to Killarney Drive after someone threw a “molotov cocktail” at a residence, which started a fire in the yard.

• At 1:51 p.m. Dec. 9, deputies were called to Robyn Drive concerning a stolen debit card.

• At 8:37 a.m. Dec. 9, deputies were called to Robyn Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.

• At 9:53 p.m. Dec. 9, deputies were called to Laura Drive concerning a domestic assault.

Accidents

• At 6:13 p.m. Nov. 29, deputies responded to an injury accident on Iron Works Road in which a vehicle driven by Alan J. Powell of South Highland Street, Winchester, reportedly did not stop for a stop sign and collided with a vehicle, driven by Kevin Thomas of Cynthiana. A passenger in Powell’s vehicle was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
