CLARK COUNTY FIRE

• At 9:51 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Rockwell Road.

• At 2:26 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Trapp Goffs Corner Road.

• At 5:55 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Calmes Boulevard.

• At 7:17 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 101 mile marker on Interstate 64.

• At 9:22 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Terry Drive.

• At 11:28 a.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Waylon Drive.

• At 1:02 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a structure fire on Iron Works Road.

• At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Kiddville and Oil Springs roads.

• At 10:56 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Boonesboro and Old Boonesboro roads.

• At 11:08 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Colby and Becknerville roads.

• At 12:23 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Trapp Goffs Corner Road and Cunningham Lane.

• At 11:09 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Lynnway Drive.

 

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

• Will J. Demshar, 42, was charged Thursday with driving on a suspended operator’s license, no or expired registration plate, failure to maintain insurance and flagrant non-support.

• Wesley Curtis Bunch, 36, was charged Saturday with fourth-degree assault.

• Michelle L. Neal, 51, was charged Sunday with driving on a suspended operator’s license, theft by unlawful taking – auto and theft by unlawful taking.

• Rickey D. Sams, 35, was charged Saturday with failure to appear, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

• Christopher Edgar Stewart, 35, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reports

• At 5:05 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Hood Avenue after suspected drugs were recovered.

• At 6:46 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to West Lexington Avenue for a dispute between a tenant and landlord.

• At 11:28 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center concerning a possible child abuse complaint.

• At 3:35 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Hill Street concerning a theft of eight batteries.

• At 4:12 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Virginia Avenue concerning a phone scam.

• At 6:57 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Vine and Broadway streets to assist other agencies after a person was hit by a train.

• At 11:25 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Carolina Avenue concerning a stolen cell phone.

• At 7:57 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to Bartram Court concerning an assault. Wesley Bunch was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.

• At 8:59 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to East Hickman Street after a door was shattered.

• At 1:16 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to West Lexington Avenue concerning a person causing problems and refusing to leave.

• At 9:52 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to North Main Street concerning a stolen cell phone.

• At 9:37 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Canewood Drive concerning a stolen vehicle. Michelle L. Neal was arrested on multiple charges.

• At 10:17 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to the Clark County Detention Center, 30 Wall St., concerning a deputy jailer being assaulted by an inmate.

• At 6:40 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to East Washington Street concerning stolen money orders.

Accidents

• At 3:30 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident on Bypass Road in which Sherry Arnold of Columbia was traveling south through the intersection with Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Arnold said the sun was shining in her eyes and she did not see traffic stopped in front of her. She rear-ended a vehicle driven by Teresa G. Walls of Rameau Circle, Winchester. Walls’ vehicle then struck another stopped vehicle, operated by Matthew D. Miles of Ferry Road. A passenger in Walls’ vehicle was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

• From Thursday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 55 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, one diabetic case, two seizures and one overdose.

• At 1:19 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide alarm sounding on Enterprise Drive.

• At 7:18 p.m. Thursday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 101 mile marker on Interstate 64.

• At 3:30 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Pioneer Drive.

• At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Kiddville and Oil Springs roads.

• At 10:56 p.m. Saturday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Boonesboro and Old Boonesboro roads.

• At 11:09 p.m. Saturday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Colby and Becknerville roads.

• At 11:56 p.m. Saturday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Trapp Goffs Corner Road and Cunningham Lane.

• At 2:23 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide detector sounding on Crockett Court.
