Employees of Southern Contractor of Kentucky were busy Monday tearing out the sidewalk in front of the McEldowney Building and constructing a temporary access ramp for employees of  the County Attorney’s Office. Arvin Gay said that electric lines will be installed beneath the new sidewalk, which will be more easily accessible to those in wheelchairs. The London-based company has been working on four sidewalk projects in downtown Winchester. (Photos by Randy Patrick)
