Barbara Abney, 83, of Fairfield passed away on Tuesday Jan. 12, 2021. 

She was born on July 28, 1937 in Winchester, Ky., the daughter of the late Elwood and Sylvania (nee Johnson) DeVary. She was married to Linville Abney, and he preceded her in death in 2015 after 59 years of marriage. 

She is survived by three children, Vicki Westrich, Debbie Abney-Rose and Linville “Buddy” (Melissa) Abney; four grandchildren, Jamie Walton, Stephanie Stepp, Kathryn (Chris) Brinck and Ryan Abney; and four great-grandchildren, Shawn, Sierra, Gabriel and Harper. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jennifer Stepp, and her sister, Woodie Wills. 

Visitation will be on Friday Jan. 15, 2021 at The Webster Funeral Home, 3080 Homeward Way at Route 4, Fairfield from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will be on Saturday Jan. 16, 2021 at noon in Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, KY. Online condolences can be made at www.websterfuneralhomes.com
