The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court Jan. 14, 2021, with Judge Brandy Oliver Brown presiding.
• Benjamin Smith, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, dismissed; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin), dismissed; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.
• Marshall T. Watts, first-degree criminal trespass, sentenced to 30 days; assault under extreme emotional disturbance, sentenced to one year concurrent, probated for three years.
• Kaleb R. Keanaania, probation violation, stipulated to violation, sentenced to two years and one day.
• Johnny Barnett, probation violation, stipulated to violation, sentenced to three years.
• Lantz Russell Coons, third-degree burglary (three counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year concurrent; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, sentenced to one year consecutive; possession of burglary tools, sentenced to 30 days concurrent.
• Brandon Adams, second-degree robbery, amended to theft by unlawful taking, pleaded guilty, recommended three years with drug court; second-degree fleeing or evading police, pleaded guilty, recommended 12 months concurrent; sentencing Feb. 4.
• Brandon Adams, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year, consecutive to previous case, sentencing Feb. 4.
• Brandon Adams, tampering with prisoner monitoring device, pleaded guilty, recommended one year consecutive, sentencing Feb. 4.
