Vickie Ann Davenport Cunningham, 58, passed away on Jan. 21, 2021, from complications associated with COVID-19 and Frontal-Lobe Dementia.
She was born and raised in Williamsburg, Ky., but spent most of her adult life in Winchester, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Ray Don Davenport and Jan Davenport Napier. She graduated from the Williamsburg Independent School with honors in 1980. She subsequently attended the University of Kentucky where obtained a BA in Communications.
At the University of Kentucky, she met her future husband (Keith Cunningham). They settled in Winchester and raised their two sons. She got a job as a dental office manager that she held for 20+ years. Although her marriage ended, she remained very close to the Cunningham family.
She is survived by her two sons; Matthew Cunningham (Halee) and Andrew Cunningham; grandson, Clark Wiseman Cunningham; sisters-in-law, Kathy Housley (Jack), Kelly Roberts (Jeff) and Keri Martin (James); nieces and nephews, Kyle Housley, Ryan Housley, Caitlin Housley Goble, Chase Martin, Connor Martin, Laura Martin, Katherine Roberts, Claire Martin, Lily Martin and Jack Martin; aunts and uncles, Tom Lawson (Sue), Mary Hyden, Betty Pratt (Dennis), and Kim Coulter (Ashley); cousins, Carolyn Least (Mark), Aneisa Rolen (Curtis), Robin Hyden, and Hailey McDonald; and honorary sisters, Sheri Thiry, Sharon Martin and Maureen Webb.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Billie Wisman Cunningham; and aunts and uncles, Billy Von Davenport, Anna Margaret Brown, and Bernice Wiseman.
Services will be conducted in private due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. In lieu of flowers, please wear a mask and show concern for the lives of your fellow human beings.
