After a private, yet brave battle with cancer, Rebecca “Lynne” LeMaster Pritchard, wife of Bill Pritchard of Winchester, passed away at the age of 60 on Feb. 26, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Daughter of Wiletta and the late William Damron, Lynne was born on September 23rd, 1960 in Ashland, Kentucky. She was the older sister to Lori LeMaster Moore and Chris Damron, who both preceded her in death.
Lynne graduated from Fairland High School in Proctorville, Ohio, in 1978. Her career was spent as a Human Resources Specialist where she displayed a wonderful knack of solving problems and encouraging others to work to their full potential.
She is joining other special family members in Heaven who got the call home from this earth far too soon including: her nephews Joshua and Jarrod, her aunt Judy, her uncle Arnold, cousin Kelly, brother in law Dale Pritchard, and her maternal grandparents, Jim and Thelma Hunt.
Her list of survivors is as equally long as the loved ones she had lost, living evidence of Lynne’s love of family. Lynne is survived by her committed husband, Bill, of 25 years; her son, Christopher Muncy (Jamie) of Winchester; her sister’s son, Jordan Damron of Winchester, whom she raised as her own; her bonus daughter, Sierra Pritchard of Okeechobee, FL; best friend and mother, Wiletta Damron of Winchester; stepsister Brenda LeMaster Frye of Ashland; several brother and sister in laws whom she adored; and many extended family members and friends who cherished her. But, Lynne’s greatest joys in life were from those survivors who called her Nana: Camren, Rylan, and Alexia Muncy, Dawson Damron, and Aniston Pritchard.
Family and friends who were touched by Lynne’s long stories and her big heart are invited to attend a memorial visitation Wednesday, March 3 from 5-7 p.m. at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester. There will also be a celebration of life memorial service held on Friday, March 19, in Ashland. Details will be available through social media.
