Edward J. Handziak, 97, husband of Maxine Hamon Handziak for 75 years, passed away March 15, 2021. He was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Taunton, Massachusetts, was a U.S. Army veteran, retired account manager and member of First United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Peggy (Paul) Haas, Don (Angel) Handziak and Ron (Sherry) Handziak; grandchildren, Michael (Stefanie) Haas, Melissa (Michael) Mankin, Eliot (Lisa) Handziak, Dani (John) Berrong, Ollie Drury, Kaylee (Seth Cain) Baerga, Christian Baerga, Josh Baerga, and Brandon Baerga; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Handziak, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday, March 20, at 2 p.m., at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, with Rev. Farley Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memoriams may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 204 S. Main St., Winchester, KY, 40391. Rolan G.
