Deborah Farmer Vickery, 72, passed away on March 23, 2021. She was a native of Norton, Virginia, and daughter of Frank N. and Mary E. Farmer. In addition to her parents, Debby is also survived by her two sons, Ross Gordon Reasor, Jr. and William David Kennon, a sister Rebecca Farmer, all of Winchester, and a grandaughter Sunshine Noel Kennon, of Lexington.
Debby moved to Winchester with her family in 1957. She was a member of the Winchester First United Methodist Church where she sang in the Blue Angel Choir and was a member of the Marietta Mansfield Circle. She was also a Brownie Scout and Girl Scout. Upon graduation from George Rogers Clark High School, she worked briefly for the C&P Phone Company and then retired from Osram Sylvania after 35 years. Debby was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching ice skating competitions on TV. You seldom saw her without an Ale-8 or Sprite and her all-time favorite, Reese’s Cups.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 27, at 11:00 am at the Clarmont Memorial Gardens on U.S. 60 with the Rev. Farley Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Dr., Winchester, Ky 40391, or First United Methodist Church, 204 South Main St., Winchester, KY 40391.
