The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a temporary closure of Water Works Road (KY 1973) between milepoints 3.0 and 7.0 Monday through Friday of this week.

The closure for cross drain repair operations will be May 10-14, 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. each day.

This location is between Old Boonesborough Road (a county route) and Becknerville Road.

Local residents living along the route will have access to their homes

Motorists can use Becknerville Road (KY 3371) and South Boonesborough Road (KY 627) as alternate routes.

All work, and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
